Hello again. Ignoring the irony of this date (Have some fun today stoners), I figured another update was due.

Creating an update is difficult in practice, so I figure that simply making an attempt would be enough. I’ve decided to begin working on my YouTube account again, and this time with full force.

This comes with a fixed schedule that consists of holiday updates. The first episode is scheduled for Halloween, and will continue to grow in the future. They will air along with my series First Impressions, which will get a new episode sometime soon.

Show Study will take an in-depth look at individual episodes within selected series. My plan for this new show spans into some of my favorite bits of programming, like the first three seasons of Spongebob Squarepants (The only consistently great run), Avatar: The Last Airbender, Invader Zim, Gravity Falls, and others. While a majority of the content will be examining animated forms, I do intend to branch off into select episodes of live-action work (series like House of Cards, Chuck, etc.).

Film Focus will be video essays/reviews describing a particular film that I want to touch upon. I’ve seen a fair amount of movies, and there are a few that not many other reviewers have intimately touched upon. This group consists of made for television films (such as Disney Channel Original Movies), Standard films (like Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead or Adventures in Babysitting), and animated flicks (like every Disney movie ever made). I hope to make the reviews unique from other reviews given on other channels by adding my own nuanced opinions and critiques.

Other than that, not much has been really going on recently. I just finished reading Timeline by Micheal Crichton, and I plan on continuing to another one of his novels, Prey. Following that I hope to pick up a few Stephen King books if I can find any at my local thrift store, as I have yet to read a majority of his work. The only book that I’ve finished of his was 11/22/63 back in High School, and I’ve heard great things about the Dark Tower series.

I’ve also been pondering the idea of turning these journal updates into full fledged video journal entries. The benefit given to having a snapshot of what I was going through at the time of recording offers more than a singular page, and I don’t see much harm in doing so. I don’t want to annoy my subscribers with constant video updates, so I’ll simply leave them un-notified. If I do turn these posts into a video series, I’ll leave the first one below for you to watch.

Until next time, have a nice day.
