To become a web developer, you need to understand:

  1. HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  2. Ruby on Rails, PHP (*7.2), SQL
  3. Node.js or Django, Express

NoSQL tables that are properly defined will be more efficient.

  • For raw data that won’t receive complex queries.

.NET as a back end language is a solid career choice.

Ubuntu 18.04 is a decent OS (free distro of Linux).

Most of the population ignores blogs.

  • Convert all posts into videos.

Look into “Bucky’s Tutorials” on YouTube.

Social skills are needed.

  • Be able to communicate your code to “normies”.

PHP is old and the quintessential back-end language.

  • Node is popular, but not perfect.
