The level of archived message board traffic is insane.
- Over 195 page of threads in a week alone (for one board).
/lit/ is very antisemitic for some reason. I don’t understand why.
- User posts/replies drop off after 1 AM.
“Speed Reading” is just skimming. It isn’t reading, so it is a myth.
The classic route to getting published:
- Submit to contests and magazines.
- Send material to half a dozen agents and publishers.
H.P. Lovecraft, while racist, wrote some brilliant cosmic horror.
Try to experience the world from time to time.
The daily creativity is not always going to be consistent.
- Communities and message boards take time to grow.
Perhaps daily notes would be best served by only checking on the updates from multiple sources.
- They would be less dependent on one community.
