Song of the Day: How to Save a Life

Today’s song is How to Save a Life by The Fray.
I’ve always loved this song.
Had a digital version of this song any any media player I owned for over a decade.

I haven’t really paid much attention to it since High School (well over 8 years ago).
Yeah, it holds that mid 2000’s rock edge to it. Beautifully nostalgic.

As he begins to raise his voice you lower yours and grant him one last choice.
Drive until you lose the road or break with the ones you’ve followed.

I has just enough of a harder emphasis with the drum line, but that melancholy piano is heartbreaking.

It has more depth to it than most songs from that era. The lyrics prove it.
