Song of the Day: Bloody Tears

Today’s song is Bloody Tears from the Castlevania soundtrack.
80’s power-rock vibes from an originally chip-tune classic.
Yeah, it’s from a video-game series. Still a beautiful work of art.

I just love the progression, especially the piano melding into the guitar.
The drums are no slouch either. It’s an impressive package (especially for a cover).

It kicks ass. Always will. Vampires (and vampire slaying) deserve only rock or metal. No compromises.

Hearing a version of this tune within the second season of the Netflix series was the cherry on top of an excellent adaptation.
