Today’s song is I’m Not Your Hero by Tegan and Sara.
I used to sing this song in the shower. 2016 was a fun (terrible) year.

Synth-pop is one of my favorite genres.
What? I’m a sucker for synth.
There is just so much to enjoy.
Softer songs like this illustrate that.

Sometimes it feels like I’m all that they’ve got.
It’s so hard to know I’m not what they want.

An excellent drum backing. Soothing synth. Introspective lyrics.

This song has some interesting elements.
Will it age well? Who knows?
Do I still enjoy it? Yes.
