Today’s song is Landslide by The Chicks.
They used to call themselves the Dixie Chicks. It’s a whole story.

This is an excellent cover of the fantastic Fleetwood Mac original.
I just enjoy the twang a bit more on this one. Can’t really explain it.

Well, I’ve been afraid of changin’ ’cause I’ve built my life around you.

The acoustic guitar. The multi-harmonies. It’s just great.

This song takes me introspective about my own mortality.
Not in the dire way.
More of a ‘you’ve come farther than you thought’ kind of vibe.

It’s a sweet tune. I always go out of my to listen to it whenever it comes on.
