Today’s song is Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now by Starship.

I like the sentiment behind this one.
The heavy synth elements and the excellent guitar really help as well.
It’s a solid pop-rock duet. A bit cheesy, but what do expect for a song serving as the theme to Mannequin.

And if this world runs out of lovers we’ll still have each other.

As power-ballads go, this one isn’t half bad.

I’m also a sucker for how they used this goofy song in the Skeleton Twins.
Yeah, that film wasn’t perfect, but it’s a stand out scene between Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig.
A decent throwback to a very embarrassing time, but just the right level of camp.
