Song of the Day: Untitled

Today’s song is Untitled by Simple Plan.

Full of angst. Beautiful, sullen and a bit cringe-worthy if taken too seriously.
If this doesn’t give you flashbacks to teenage life, you aren’t human.
The early to mid-2000’s was rather silly, but we got this rather interesting song.

The night goes on as I’m fading away.

That string section is rather surprising. It really elevates the song to something special

It was written about the impacts of drunk driving (and the video was rather powerful in that respect).
It’s sad, but alas, became a meme. I suppose when taken at face-value, it’s a bit ‘much’.
I view it as a melancholy ballad of lamented decisions. It serves that purpose well.
Always worth a listen every once and a while.
