Today’s song is Dance Floor Anthem (I Don’t Wanna Be In Love) by Good Charlotte.

Some pop-punk. Still in an angst-riddled state.
For some sick reason I’m thinking back to my middle-school days.
I thought of Heelys and this song in particular.

We break up, it’s something that we do now. Everyone has got to do it sometime.

It’s a song about someone scoffing at the notion of love and coping with a break-up. At least that’s how I interpret it.

The energy is pretty infectious. While I know that it’s not ‘high art’, it’s rather comforting.
Like an old out-dated movie or a photo of me with a terrible haircut (there are so many).
