Song of the Day: Waiting for a Star to Fall

Today’s song is Waiting for a Star to Fall by Boy Meets Girl.

I enjoy the use of saxophone in pop music. Hearing it is a small gift to my ears.
Also, the mix of piano, drums and heavy vocals makes this a fun blend.

Is this song goofy? Yes. Without a doubt.
Does that discredit all that it does correctly?
Nope. Still a catchy love song.

I don’t know how to dream your dream so I’m all caught up in the superstition.

This song just screams 70’s and 90’s themes, which is funny because it’s from 1988.

It’s got some serious Jefferson Starship vibes. Maybe that was intentional.
Regardless, it’s the type of song that is entertaining at 3AM when you’re driving.
Some serious ‘mood music’ that pulls your attention in all the best ways.
