Song of the Day: Thunderstruck

Today’s song is Thunderstruck by AC/DC.

Endlessly energized.
A hype song for the ages.
The theme may be a bit too sexually charged, but you kinda expect that from most hard rock bands.
Seriously, looking into the history of the era it was a miracle that bands managed any form of touring.

Sound of the drums beating in my heart.

It’s a fun way to bounce back from a draining drive. It’ll perk you up a bit.

The blend of drums reverberating like the sound of thunder (obviously intended).
That electrifying progression.
It’s a solid track that (while dated in some areas) still holds up.

It also led to this brilliant rendition with cellos and this other bluegrass version that is somehow both more/less refined.
