Song of the Day: Sweet Disposition

Today’s song is Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap.

Australian Indie rock. It’s great.
Harsh vocals with a sweet theme.

It’s has the ‘late 2000’s sound’. You know what I’m talking about.
A sort of “One-Republic” vibe.

Pop-rock went through an interesting phase there.
It was a legitimate style of singing that dominated the segment of music.

Sorry if my nonsensical musings offend you. Nothing against the song.
Just stating that it reminds me of the post-grunge/anti-pop ‘vibe’ of that time.

Sweet disposition. Never too soon.

The drums kick ass on this one. All I have to say about that.

I’ve done over 200 of these daily music posts.
You should already be expecting me to highlight a contemporary cover by now.

Here is a recent rendition by Sawyer.
It’s a bit softer. You might like it.
