Song of the Day: The Night We Met

Today’s song is The Night We Met by Lord Huron.

Indie/Folk-Rock (for when you want an evening alone).
Reflective, peaceful and heartbreaking.

Right off the bat you have those harmonized notes.
From there it grows stronger and more in-depth.
Mere words fail to do it justice. Just listen to it.

I had all and then most of you. Some and now none of you.

This song helped get me through a depressive episode. Sounds counter-intuitive, but it clicked with me.

It’s a bit frustrating that many were introduced to this track by 13 Reasons Why.
That series didn’t deserve this haunting masterpiece.
