Song of the Day: Clearest Blue

Today’s song is Clearest Blue by CHVRCHES.

Synth-Pop, because I had to keep this train moving.
Reflective, peaceful and heartbreaking.

Anyone who knows me understands that CHVRCHES is one of my favorite bands.
I had the opportunity to see them live (and I wasn’t expecting to), they took me by surprise, and I fell in love with their sound.
Been a fan ever since.
This track in particular was the song that blew my mind when they performed it live.

When the hook blares in, the track just morphs into something spectacular.

If you want to see a bunch of sweaty people loose their minds to this being performed live, you can check this video out. It starts exactly at 40 minutes. The energy is exactly how it feels when I hear this track.
