Song of the Day: Can’t Let Go

Today’s song is Can’t Let Go by Hey Ocean!

Some indie Alt-rock/Synth-Pop from a Canadian group.
The vocals on this are phenomenal, especially the harmonizing.

Some of the layers on this track really get to me.
Each listen brings out something cool that is a blast to pay attention to.
The lyrics and the guitar take central focus, but try to discern the drums/base/synth.
Really draws out some interesting bits.

This song repeats endlessly, but I’m in love with the pacing. Gives me chills when it slows down.

It’s a neat song with some excellent instrumentation.
Kinda wish they didn’t hammer in the chorus so much, but their voices/over-layering makes it worth listening to.

For some odd trivia, this group is connected with Bronies/the MLP: Friendship is Magic fans.
Confused the hell out me, but hey, they have some good taste in music.
