Song of the Day: Grow As We Go

Today’s song is Grow As We Go by Ben Platt.
Time for a softer song from Ben Platt that caught my attention last year.
Particularly enjoy the focus shifting between the backing acoustic guitar and the vocals.
You can ebb and I can flow. We’ll take it slow and grow as we go.

The harmonizing near the end gets to me. Not overdone or grandiose.
It’s a nice song from an artist’s debut album. More fond of his Broadway roots than his acting career.
That said, he has some other great work. I’ll likely single out “Rain” at some point in the future.
