Song of the Day: Bury a Friend
Today’s song is bury a friend by Billie Eilish.
Industrial Synth-pop.
A dark song with a definite mood.
This was from her debut album. Hearing this, you gain a sense for just how strong her debut was.
She became famous off of Soundcloud, so yeah, it’s fascinating to see how things are turning out for her.
Honestly, I thought that I would be dead by now (Wow).
Blowing my mind that this was already a few years ago. Freaking me out.
This song is disorienting, but rather fascinating.
It’s has sounds from a dental exam. Seriously, what songs try stuff like that?
The use of tension in this track is fascinating.
The layered vocals, those synth elements.
It’s all rather excellent.
