Song of the Day: Through the Fire and Flames

Today’s song is Through the Fire and Flames by DragonForce.

Power metal.
This song is a staple of great rhythm games and precious few can make it through on expert difficulty.

I love this song. I’ve loved it for almost 15 years, and no matter how many times I hear it, I marvel at it.
Once, I spent a day listening to this on a loop while I read an entire novel. It was incredible.

Those duel solos are absurd. Everything about them is spectacular.

There is far more going on with the lyrics than initially expected.
Yeah, they take a backseat to the wonderful instrumentation, but they’re just as powerful.

I can’t sing the praises of this song enough. It’s a force to be reckoned with.
