Song of the Day: Send Me An Angel

Today’s song is Send Me An Angel by Real Life.

Synth-pop/New-Wave.
This one really lays the synth on heavy, before breaking out the electric guitar.

Most from my generation recognize this from GTA5.
I guess I can thank Rockstar for ensuring that another wave of people heard this track.

The choir backing was a nice touch. Maybe a bit dating due to the sound effects, but it’s part of the charm.

For whatever reason, I was introduced to this song by watching The Wizard.
Yeah. I’ll never be able to live that one down.
Can’t listen to this song without thinking of it (and how the PowerGlove is ‘so bad’).
