Song of the Day: Little Heartbeat

Today’s song is Little Heartbeat by Cataldo.

Indie pop.
A sweet little track (with beautiful instrumental layers).

Pay attention to them as they show up. It’s pacing is solid, matching the lyrics rather well.

I can still hear you whisper “I want the best of your love”.

Sue me. I love the use of a saxophone in just about anything. Bonus points for added synth.

The hook makes this. Those drums stay steady, the piano stacks nicely and the synth hits a great tone.
I think the instrumentation is better than the lyrics, but you can’t get everything.
