Song of the Day: Bodies

Today’s song is Bodies by The Knocks (and MUNA).

Electronic.
Some Pop elements, but the heavier synth makes the genre clear.

This has some interesting funk/groove elements to it.
That, paired with MUNA’s vocals makes this a neat track.

Your body on my, body on my, bodies in the basement.

As a standard EDM song, this works alright, but it’s elevated by the vocals/lyrics.

The layers to this one are neat. Solid pulses, snaps and beats. Pair well with the progression.
Something about the tone melts it all together, keeping it from being to jagged and off-putting.
