Song of the Day: Happy Home

Today’s song is Happy Home by Hedegaard.

Electronic.
Most know this because it features the vocals of Lukas Graham.
In looking into this, turns out the song itself is from a Danish DJ.

I enjoyed walking to this song my freshman year of college.
It made for pleasant excursions when I wanted to pace.
Now the memory feels a bit pathetic.

Though I really feel sometimes I am on my own
I know I got a lot of love and a happy home.

The major emphasis of this track comes from the backing instrumental.

The pacing is solid, and all of it can easily be overlooked when hearing all the lyrics.
Try to ignore the vocals and center in on the electronic melody.
You notice just how nicely it builds, with all the other elements adding themselves (the drums, piano, harmonies, etc).
For that, I’m happy to showcase this.
