Song of the Day: Stay

Today’s song is Stay by Mïrändä.

Alternative/Indie.
A single, which serves as a solid love ballad.

The drumming is pretty great. For some reason, there is a harpsichord, which works well with the tone.

‘Cause I have a heart, despite what you may think and what I say.

This one is a bit strange. Not everyone will enjoy the progression, but I dig it.

As the song moves forward, particularly once the harmonies enter, you start to see more interesting elements.
The tone shifts from something dour to more of an upbeat plea.
One that becomes more heartfelt as it goes on, and I quite like that.
