Today’s song is CONFIG.SYS by MASTER BOOT RECORD.

Synth Metal (with a bit of a classical edge).
You may not like this song. Tough.

I’ve featured MBR last month, and for good reason. Something about the style really speaks to me.

Face-melting base procession.

The way this track messes with scales and progression is a blast to listen to.

This sounds like the type of song you’d hear for boss music.
Enough hard-edge to sound imposing, but with enough creativity to really make it shine.
The outro is also extremely unsettling, and I don’t know why, but I like that.
