Song of the Day: Twinkle Lights

Today’s song is Twinkle Lights by The Sonder Bombs.

Alternative/Indie.
This one has a ton of punches behind it. Ton of angst/frustration behind the lyrics.

Music that conveys emotion is always fun to listen to, because it’s relatable to those that match the sentiment.

There was nothing I could say or do.
And there’s no amount of time that would’ve helped you, although I tried too.

You know just how hard they get into it when the drums/guitars all pile onto each-other.

The overall tone of this track is disheartening as hell. Brutal at the end and holds a dark message.
Not every track is a love-struck ballad.
Some have to carry a weight, and if not in the lyrics, then in the instrumentation.
This succeeds with that.
