Song of the Day: On Your Mind

Today’s song is On Your Mind by Noah Floersch.

Pop.
This is a quick little ballad that has some solid progression.

I particularly enjoy the backing instrumental that grows alongside the lyrics.

So why do you sit there and cry like you might have to bear this?
Like you’d even have to try?.

This is a pretty straightforward song. It knows what it’s point is, gets to it, then ends. It’s nice.

The fact that there is a violin solo is interesting, and it ensures that the tone is apparent.
There are also some interesting effects (like the vocal layering at the end).
Overall, I like it. A pleasant little jaunt that sticks with you.
