Song of the Day: Dreams

Today’s song is Dreams by Fleetwood Mac.

Soft Rock.
This may be an extremely popular song, but I wanted to focus on it today.
It’s sad. There is a soft, melancholy tone to it that really resonates from (multiple areas of) the track.

This song is also soothing, and somehow works better in a light rain.

Have you any dreams you’d like to sell?
Dreams of loneliness.

The baseline on this song is straightforward, but it sticks with you.

This is a beautiful song. It came from Fleetwood Mac’s most-known album, and many can see why.
Yes, it is repetitive, but the twang elements and the soft vocals (especially the harmonies) really pull you in.

Mostly cream album cover with black-and-white image of tall, bearded gentleman holding a snow globe in front of a blonde, cape-wearing woman. In the top right-hand corner, it is captioned "FLEETWOOD MAC" and "RUMOURS" below it.
