Song of the Day: You’re the Inspiration

Today’s song is You’re the Inspiration by Chicago.

Soft rock
I’m a sucker for the synth/keys on this one. Synth bass stands out and adds a fun element to this one.
It’s a sweet song (and the lyrics really build to get the point across).

When you love somebody. Always on my mind.

The intro is classic, and the tone works well. It’s sappy, but I like it.

The pace is a bit slow, but that’s most soft rock.
As an overall track the progression works well. The vocals really handle the emphasis.
