Song of the Day: Candlelight

Today’s song is Candlelight by Relient K.

This song has a great melodic hook, tone, and progression.
You can definitely hear the influences (Counting Crows), and for some that’s distracting, but I dig the tone.

She’s like an ancient artifact, something you’re lucky to have found.

I just really enjoy the sentiment to this track. The mood of it all just seems so sweet.

It has a rapid pace, and the drumming/guitar meld so well as they keep up with the vocals.
Always fun to hear songs that balance sound like that.
Makes it feel like this would be a fun song to play along with.
