Song of the Day: Slow Motion

Today’s song is Slow Motion by Savoir Adore.

This one is cool. Has a wonderful build up, odd timing breaks and neat pace.
The backing electronic elements hit something for me (maybe that’s why I’m sharing it).

And if you want me to, I can show you how to begin.
Just take a step or two, either way you will be moving.

You know the exact moment that this track goes from narrow and familiar to something different.

I particularity like the drumming that jumps in.
Pay attention to the opening. You really see exactly how it builds to that explosion of sound.
The pacing is so solid that it all feels natural, and I’m really happy with how the song expands itself.
