Song of the Day: Everytime We Touch

Today’s song is Everytime We Touch by Cascada.

Eurodance/Trance
This is the type of song that gives me DDR flashbacks (complete with war helicopters and deep emotional pangs).
This track is still fun, bridging the upbeat Eurodance sound with a solid set of lyrics.
I just think of ‘middle-school’ listening to this one, and that makes it both excellent and unnerving.

Forgive me my weakness but I don’t know why.
Without you it’s hard to survive.

The song really hits when the lyrics drop off and it strikes the main tune.

This song was made for something like BeatSaber or DDR (basically any rhythm game).
It celebrates the BPM and the overall sound is killer.
Yeah, gushing about this track ages me dramatically, but I still have a deep appreciation for it (and how it shaped the genre).
