Song of the Day: Laugh Track

Today’s song is Laugh Track by Ben Hopkins.

Alt/Indie
Here is something neat.
Right off the bat you get a frantic pace and some solid sax blends.
The mood of this one speaks volumes of my current mental state (even if it can be a bit overblown).

I feel like an open house (in a neighborhood that burned down).
I feel like the bone that breaks (grows back stronger in that place).

The ramp up with this one is excellent. It starts firing on all cylinders and just transports you.

This is a ‘stream of consciousness’ song. It hits well-enough.
Gets a bit strained at points, but I think that adds to the overall tone (being tired and past one’s breaking point).
That segment at the end with the looping synth (and the ringing bells) was such a cool point.
I really like this one.
