Song of the Day: Let’s Groove

Today’s song is Let’s Groove by Earth, Wind & Fire.
This is actually an 80’s song. It survived the Disco era by tailoring itself to heavy synth and electric guitars.
Loose yourself in the sky among the clouds in the heavens.

This song shouldn’t have worked. Disco was dead. They made it work and it honors the genre.
Also helps to have that excellent vocoder riff and the celebratory horns.
If you don’t dig the baseline you aren’t human. You can hate everything else, but nothing touches that baseline.
