Today’s song is One Second by Pink Skies.

Alternative/Indie.
Wound up happening across this little beauty. An absolute shame that it isn’t more popular.
The layering on this track is excellent (and I’m a fan of the overall tone).
Yes, it repeats a ton, but it works with the mood.

Only one second. Only one second. Only one second to go.

It gives off a warbled ‘dream-state’ feel that blends everything together nicely.

That baseline is great, and it pulls in a surfer aesthetic that matches the beach lyrics.
One you get to the end of the track, you really start to notice how strong the core hook is.
