Today’s song is Why Do You Love Me by Charlotte Lawrence.

Contemporary Pop is usually a bit strange. This one is stuck in my head and I wanted to highlight it.
The vocals are solid, the pacing is great and it doesn’t overstay it’s welcome.

Four in the morning, you’re changing the locks.
How could you do this to me?

The song focuses on a love/hate relationship, leading to an interesting back and forth.

Yeah, this one might not appeal to you. Sorry if that is the case (not every digs explicit lyrics).
Still, I dug the backing harmony and the progressing hook.
It sort of breaks apart at the end, and you either enjoy that stylistic choice or you don’t.
