Song of the Day: Fallin’

Today’s song is Fallin’ by Alicia Keys.
The level of soul in this is incredible. The gospel influences are obvious, but the real kicker is how classical it feels.
Lovin’ you darlin’ makes me so confused.

She is a classically trained pianist. Keys wrote, arranged and produced the majority of her first album herself.
It was an excellent album and she was 20 when she released it. Yeah, makes me feel substantially less accomplished.
