Song of the Day: Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!

Today’s song is Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! by Gamper & Dadoni.
This is obviously a cover of the brilliant ABBA original.

This one is more stylized to fit modern taste.
Heavier focus on the electronic hook. Layered mixing. More of a dance vibe (but it kinda looses the weight of the original).
I open the window and I gaze into the night, but there’s nothing there to see no one in sight.

I’m a sucker for ABBA. This hits that vibe in fun ways. Takes the original and works it into something new.
The original was from 1979, and I hate to say that some of the elements sound off by modern standards.
Eh. Music is meant to shift with the times. I’m just happy that people still enjoy the originals to work it into modern styles.
